1. APCD Meeting Thursday, January 21 including air quality monitoring network
2. SBCAG Meeting Thursday, January 21 including Unmet Transit Needs Hearing
3. SLO County Planning Commission Hearing February 4 and 5 on Phillips 66 Oil Train Terminal

1. Air Pollution Control District Board Meeting: Discussion of air quality monitoring network. Santa Barbara County's South Coast has 10 air quality monitoring stations; Santa Maria Valley has one. This agenda item provides an opportunity for North County Residents to advocate for its fair share of monitors.  The meeting is Thursday, January 21 at 1 p.m. at the Betteravia Government Center, 511 E. Lakeside Parkway, Santa Maria. Remote testimony will be taken from the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, 105 E. Anapamu Street, 4th floor, Santa Barbara.

2. Santa Barbara County Association of Governments Board Meeting: This meeting, which is also being held at the Betteravia Government Center tomorrow, begins at 8:30 a.m. and includes the annual Unmet Transit Needs Hearing at 10 a.m. Remote testimony will be taken from the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, 105 E. Anapamu Street, 4th floor, Santa Barbara.

3. San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission Hearing: Mark your calendars for the hearing on the proposed Phillips 66 crude oil terminal in Nipomo. The hearing begins at 9 a.m. on February 4 and continues on Feb. 5.

Finally, some of our partners have arranged for a bus on February 4 from Santa Barbara that will stop in Santa Maria. It will take people to the San Luis Obispo Planning Commission Public Hearing on Phillips 66 Oil Train Project and mass rally to stop oil trains.
