Join CAUSE next Thursday, November 10th at 6pm for a Community Meeting with Councilmember Alejandra Gutierrez. For the last several years, Alejandra Gutierrez has voted against rent control and other tenant protections. Now she's agreed to sit down with the community to talk rent control and see how we can move forward. With a 7 person city council and 3 votes currently in support of rent control, Alejandra Gutierrez could be the deciding vote on the matter.
Bring your family and friends to this community meeting to talk about our housing crisis and get real about what's at stake for us all. Food will be provided as well as interpretation services in English and Spanish. There will be an opportunity for you to submit questions you want to ask Alejandra Gutierrez, so come join the call for rent control and show Alejandra just how large the movement for tenant protections is.
